Skills Training

The Alamo Community College District, consisting of five colleges, is a tremendous asset to Schertz employers for skill training and workforce development. Alamo Colleges serve over 100,000 students and currently offer Associate in Applied Science, Certificate, and Continuing Education programs that are geared to train workers in the technical trades. Alamo Colleges three main manufacturing related training facilities are located within 30 miles of the Schertz industrial parks.

Future Outlook

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) provides 2020 employment projections through their Labor Availability Estimator tool.
