Membership on the Board of Directors is voted on and approved by the City Council. Seven members comprise the Board of Directors at any given time and each member serves a two year term. Membership on the board of directors requires residence in the City of Schertz and an interest in promoting the mission and welfare of the City. If you are interested in applying for membership on the board, you must complete an application. After submittal of the application, an interview committee comprised of current City Council members will interview and make recommendations to the full City Council.
