The 153-bed Northeast Methodist Hospital is just 5 minutes away from Schertz and provides 24-hour emergency medical support as well as inpatient and outpatient services, cardiovascular treatments and surgeries, and Breast Cancer treatment. The Baptist Health System (20 minutes), Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (30 minutes), McKenna Health System (25 minutes), and Brooke Army Medical Center (23 minutes) all operate hospitals that serve Schertz residents.
