Climate

With its location on the northwest edge of the Gulf Coastal Plain, Schertz experiences a modified subtropical climate. The weather is hot in the summer, warm to cool winters subject to descending northern cold fronts in the winter with cool to cold nights, and comfortably warm and rainy in the spring and fall. Elevation varies from near 630 feet to near and above 850 feet above sea level.
