The Texas Workforce Commission invites companies interested in learning about Registered Apprenticeship Training Programs to attend the Texas Workforce Commission Apprenticeship Texas Conference September 28-29 in the San Antonio Ballroom of the Drury Plaza Hotel Riverwalk in San Antonio. Speakers include Julian Alvarez III, Texas Workforce Commissioner Representing Labor, Mario A. Lazoya Director Governmental Relations & External Affairs, Toyota Motor North America as well as several panel discussions.
Panel discussion topics include, The Story of Registered Apprenticeship in Operation, Development of Registered Apprenticeships Program: Career Pathways for High Schools, Working with Underrepresented Populations: Disabled Veterans and Registered Apprenticeship Collaboration with Community Colleges.
