Scott Wayman

Scott Wayman has 37 years of experience after retiring from the City of Live Oak after 35 years; and starting out as a police officere and finishing as the City Manager. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Holly Malish

Holly serves as the Deputy Director of the Schertz Economic Development Corporation. Holly brings 15 years of economic development and manufacturing knowledge to the SEDC. Previous to her service with the City of Schertz, Holly served as Senior Director for the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation where she oversaw marketing and research and began her career as a marketing specialist working in a manufacturing plant
Ashley Ritchey

Ashley Ritchey serves as the Business Engagement Manager for Schertz EDC. Prior to joining the City of Schertz, Ashley worked with the La Vernia Municipal Development District, where she focused on business retention efforts, workforce development and downtown revitalization. Ashley’s education background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and History from the University of Texas at Austin.
Tracy Miller
Administrative Assistant, Economic Development

Tracy Miller comes to Schertz EDC as the Administrative Assistant after serving at the City of Kirby for 21 years. She started as the Utility Clerk and finished as the Administrative Programs Supervisor overseeing the Court and Utility Departments also assisting in Finance/HR. She received her certification as a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk in 2020.
